Digital solutions for retail

Till, stock, customer records and accounting on one system — whether you run one shop, several outlets or a website as well.

Your challenges

What costs you time every week

A retail business runs three or four tools that do not communicate, on average. Here is what we see most often — and what we put in place instead.

  • The shop stock and the website stock are two stocks

The last item sells in store on Saturday and stays online until Monday. You cancel the order, you refund it, and the customer does not come back. The other way round, you turn down a sale on the shop floor for an item held back for the website.

    What we put in place

One stock, updated by the till and by the website on the same database. Reservation at order, collection in store and returns handled in the same movement, with rolling stock counts by department. POS and stock software →

  • You do not really know what sells and what sits

You know the month's revenue, not the rotation per item or the real margin after discounts. Restocking is done on instinct, and part of the shelf has been tying up cash for months.

    What we put in place

A rotation table by item, size and colour: what sells, what sits, what only moves on promotion. Net margin per product after discounts, and restock alerts on the items that turn. Business management software (ERP) →

  • The customer leaves without a trace

A receipt, a thank you, and nothing more. You do not know who has been in before, what they bought, or how to tell them a new collection has arrived. The paper loyalty card ends up at the back of a drawer.

    What we put in place

A customer record created at the till in a few seconds, with purchase history, loyalty and web orders attached. Enough to segment and follow up by email or SMS on real criteria. CRM software →

  • Accounting exports are redone by hand

Every month: pull the till receipts, add the website sales, track down the discounts and the credit notes, key it all again into a spreadsheet for the accountant. Then answer the questions about the discrepancies.

    What we put in place

An automatic accounting export in the format your accountant expects: shop and web sales together, VAT split by rate, payment methods reconciled, credit notes and discounts included, transmission on a schedule. Invoicing and accounting software →

One single chain

Each block feeds the next

The point is not to own four good pieces of software, but that an item entered once travels from the product record all the way to the accounting entry.

Upstream

Website and e-commerce

Product records, prices and availability shown from the real stock, not from a file exported the day before.

In store

Shop till

Payment, discounts, credit notes, collection of web orders and customer records created at the counter.

Continuously

One stock

A single quantity per item for every channel, with restock thresholds and rolling stock counts.

On the way out

Accounting

Entries, VAT by rate and reconciliation of takings, sent to your accountant with no re-keying.

1 stock
for the shop, the website and the orders in progress
Real time
rotation and margin per item, without waiting for the stock count
Multi-shop

Project

A concrete example

Example — to be replaced by a real project

Till, single stock and customer records for three fashion shops

One till system per shop, an online store with its own stock, and customer follow-ups that were impossible to target. We delivered a shared till linked to a single stock and to customer records fed at the point of payment.

−7 h
of data entry and reconciliation per week
−18 %
of cash tied up in slow-moving items
10 wks
to go live across the three shops

Frequently asked questions

What shop owners ask us

Do we have to replace everything at once?

No, and it is rarely sensible before Christmas or the sales. We start with the block that costs you the most — usually the stock shared between the shop and the website — then connect the till, the customer records and the exports over the following months.

Can we keep our current online shop?

Yes, if it exposes an interface we can work with. We connect your existing site to the stock and the orders rather than rebuild it. If rebuilding is faster than connecting, we tell you at the scoping stage, with figures, and you decide.

What about the regulatory obligations on till software?

The obligations that apply to your business are identified during scoping and priced into the scope: unalterable records, retention, archiving and supporting documents. We tell you precisely what is covered before you commit.

What happens if the internet goes down on a Saturday afternoon?

The till keeps taking payment locally and resynchronises as soon as the connection returns. No ticket is lost, no sale is blocked. That is a baseline requirement in our projects, not an option billed on top.

That is where the gaps show. Thirty minutes is enough to spot the two places where you lose the most time and the most margin.
