Technical audit
Indexing, redirects, duplicate content, tags, structured data, sitemap: the list of what is blocking, ranked by impact and by effort.
Country and language
Other markets: these available language versions show the same page.
Acquisition
Technical search work, pages built around real search intent, content and conversion tracking. No promise of position, with figures you can check.
The need
The story is almost always the same: a site rebuilt two years ago, traffic that has flattened, and calls from agencies guaranteeing first place on Google within three months. Nobody can guarantee that, because nobody controls the algorithm, or your competitors, or how AI answers are shown in the results. A promise of position is a warning sign, not an argument.
What we do instead comes down to four workstreams: the technical side, so Google can crawl and understand the site; the architecture, so there is one page per real search intent rather than one page trying to cover everything; the content, written to answer a precise question; and finally the tracking, so you know what each visit brings in. The four hold together, and neglecting one cancels out the others.
So we commit to what can actually be measured: qualified traffic, meaning the visits that come from queries related to your business, the number of quote requests or calls, and the conversion rate of the pages we work on. Those three figures appear in a monthly report, along with what was done and what did not work.
What we work on
We always start with the technical side: there is no point writing content on a site Google struggles to crawl.
Indexing, redirects, duplicate content, tags, structured data, sitemap: the list of what is blocking, ranked by impact and by effort.
Load time, visual stability, weight of images and scripts. A slow site loses visitors before its content is ever judged.
One page per question your customers ask, tied to the others by deliberate internal linking, rather than a single page that tries to cover everything.
Copy written to answer, not to fill space. Service pages, sector pages, guides: each page has one intent and one expected action.
Business profile, pages by city or district, consistent contact details and reviews. Decisive when your customers search close to where they are.
Goals set on forms, calls and baskets, then reading the journeys to fix the pages that attract without converting.
How we work
Four stages. You see the first technical effects within weeks, the effects on traffic within months.
Technical analysis of the site, of the queries that already bring you visitors and of those your competitors take. Deliverable: a prioritised, priced and readable action plan.
2 to 3 weeksWe repair what blocks crawling and slows the pages down: redirects, tags, structure, performance. This is the stage that produces the fastest gains.
2 to 4 weeksCreating or rewriting the pages that match your priority search intents, with the internal linking that ties them together.
2 to 6 monthsMonthly report: qualified traffic, requests received, conversion rate. We keep what works and drop what gives nothing.
OngoingScope
The detail depends on the audit, but the essentials show up in most engagements:
Project
The site put its whole offer on a single page, invisible on trade queries. We created one page per service, fixed 140 redirects inherited from an old migration and set up form tracking that did not exist until then.
Budget
The price depends on the size of the site, on its technical condition and on the volume of content to produce.
Indicative figure for a mid-sized site. The fixed quote is issued after the scoping phase. Monthly support is priced separately, as a flat fee, with no commitment on position.
Retainer
The audit and the action plan are billed as a fixed price. The work that follows is monthly, and its scope depends on the size of the site and how much content has to be produced.
Starting prices include VAT, with the VAT-exclusive amount shown below. The exact scope is priced after the audit. No commitment on rankings, traffic or revenue: nobody can guarantee those, and anyone who guarantees them is selling something else.
FAQ
No, and be wary of anyone who promises it: the algorithm, your competitors and the way AI displays answers are outside anyone's control. We commit to the work done and to three indicators: qualified traffic, quote requests received, and the conversion rate of the pages we work on.
Technical fixes produce effects in four to eight weeks. Content and architecture take three to six months to weigh on traffic. A young site, or one in a crowded market, takes longer; we say so at the audit rather than after six months.
Often no. Many sites gain a great deal from technical fixes and a better page architecture. We recommend a rebuild only when the structure or the performance make the work impossible, and the audit shows it with figures.
Traffic from queries related to your business, the number of forms and calls received, the conversion rate of the pages we work on, and how visibility moves on the queries we track. The report also says what was tried without success.
We start with accessible, indexable pages, clear service descriptions, direct answers to customer questions and links between related topics. Structured data must describe the visible content. Original evidence and clearly identified sources make a page easier to assess; they do not guarantee a citation.
Google states that AI Overviews and AI Mode use the same SEO foundations as Search and do not require special AI schema or a new text file. Gemini is a separate product with its own source selection. No markup can guarantee that a page will be included in any of these answers.
Public pages need to be accessible to the relevant search crawlers, including OAI-SearchBot, Bingbot and PerplexityBot. The content should state who provides the service, what is included and which facts support the answer. Each system independently chooses its sources; crawler access alone does not mean indexing or citation.
Each published language has a stable URL, translated visible content and matching language metadata. Hreflang links connect equivalent pages. Regional versions that reuse the same language content point to a preferred canonical page; local offices, reviews and currencies are added only when they are real.
Consistent company details, official profiles, original project evidence and genuine client feedback help people assess a business. Illustrative scenarios are labelled as examples. We do not present them as named client results, and we do not create ratings or reviews that have not been supplied and verified.
Search Console records Google search performance, including AI features within its Web reporting. Bing Webmaster Tools provides AI citation reporting where available. Referral visits, enquiries and a dated sample of real answers provide additional evidence. No single tool measures every platform, and a crawler visit is not proof of a citation.
